On Sunday mornings at 10.45, Edgeside Baptist Church gathers together to worship Jesus as a community. This is an open and welcoming. If you're thinking about checking out EBC, come as you are. We're a community of broken people, all bringing different types of baggage with us, trusting Jesus to change us. Pease don't think that you are coming to meet with some really incredibly religious people. This gathering is about messed up people meeting together with Jesus. There is no dress code (but please come dressed). Typically on a Sunday morning we come together as a family and sing about (and to) God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We spend some time together as a family of all ages, before the children leave for their group. Then the pastor preaches from the Bible and about Jesus, and twice monthly we take what is called communion, which is where we remember what Jesus accomplished through His life, death and resurrection. Sometimes a person will tell their story, other times we'll pray for people specifically because of a situation that is taking place. On the first Sunday morning of every month we have an informal all ages service in which we explore the Bible in a more interactive way. Ultimately our gatherings are about Jesus and people being challenged and changed by Him.
